Franny and Lizzie with avalanche transmitters
Director Franny Armstrong (right) and Producer Lizzie Gillett (left) massively relieved after successfully filming and skiing one of the most famous ski runs in the world, La Valle Blanche, which at 22km long, is challenging enough just to ski without trying to film, direct, and record sound all at the same time. Note the avalanche transmitters around their waists which are compulsory to make sure rescue workers can find people who fall down one of the many huge crevasses.
