Franny, translator and Noor

Director Franny Armstrong with translator Khulood Nassir and 2 year old Noor passing time chatting in between filming scenes. The filmmakers found Khulood through the Iraqi refugee association in Amman and she was a brilliant local contact to have. She also set up and ran the Iraqi kids sponsorship project where westerners paid the school fees for Iraqi refugees living in Jordan, who couldn't afford to go to school.
