John Battsek at funding meeting

Producer John Battsek's mainstream achievements (he won the Documentary Oscar in 2000) were a crucial factor behind the success of the crowd-model, through which the crew raised £450,000 to make the film. He spoke at all the funding events to explain to potential investors how he would get the film to a mass market and with showed clips from his previous fims (and the Gorillaz animations which his company makes).
