Piers Guy is a windfarm developer from Cornwall fighting the NIMBYs of Middle England. He has been developing windfarms in Africa, America and Britain for over fifteen years, but he appreciates that they will only help solve the climate crisis as a small part of a total reordering of Western society. He says "how the heck are we meant to persuade people like India and China that they should develop in a more sustainable way when we’re not even prepared to accept the odd windfarm in the landscape?"
