1 dog dead - communicating in post-katrina new orleans
An eerie message spray painted on a fence in post-Katrina New Orleans. After the storm communicating like this became very common with the army painting messages on the outside of houses detailing if there were any dead bodies inside the property. More than 1700 people died in the storm which was America's most costly natural disaster to date. The crew spent more than 3 full days filming the devastated parts of New Orleans in the blistering summer heat.
