Franny filming wrecked house

Director Franny Armstrong filming cars crushed under a house in post-Katrina New Orleans. Nine months after the storm hit the city only a third of residents had returned and some areas, for example gthe Ninth Ward (where this picture was taken) had simply been left to rot. They hadn't been cleaned up and looked as if no one had even been back to check the damage. The devastated areas looked like scenes from an apocalyptic sci-fi movie.
