News just in from Cambridge University's Eco Racing boffins in the Engineering Department: the sun HAS got his hat on - at least for Pete Postlethwaite, as the team have agreed to lend us their extremely sleek and sexy solar car, Affinity. Solar Car

Unlike Michael Knight's KIT, Affinity doesn't talk in a cool monotone voice or shoot rockets, but it IS the UK's only road-legal solar powered car, and we are very chuffed indeed to have it.

It cost a truly frightening sum of money to build and develop so we had to promise to take extremely good care of it.
