Archana Menon
Biography:
Archana Menon started her career as Assistant Director in the year 2003. For over 2 years she worked on the controversial Indian Documentary 'Final Solution' by acclaimed director Rakesh Sharma. The film, a study of politics of hate, set in gujarat during feb 2002, has gone on to win several awards and has been screened at over 80 international Festivals. Since then, Archana has worked as a freelancer on production of Documentaries, Independant films and Ad films. In 2007, she was invited to be part of the jury for the Indian Documentary Producers’ Association (IDPA ) Awards for Excellence 2006 for the Documentary category.

Working on Crude (although my contribution was miniscule) has been memorable. I look forward to seeing the film and hope it gets widely shown in India and the world over. Here's hoping to do more such work in a better future.
