Age of Stupid writer at screening

The producer and co-writer of new climate change campaign film The Age of Stupid are to introduce screenings at a Highlands theatre.

The film, starring Pete Postlethwaite, is set in 2055.

The actor's character watches "archive footage" from 2008 and asks why action against global warming was not taken when there was a chance to do so.

Producer Lizzie Gillet and co-writer Mark Lynas will appear at Eden Court in Inverness at the weekend.

The special screenings on Saturday and Sunday will be followed by a post-show discussion.

The film's premiere in London was attended by X-Files star Gillian Anderson and Scottish singer KT Tunstall.
