Normal film premieres are glitzy and exclusive, with nobody invited except VIPs - but the People's Premiere is different: VIPs, IPs and plain old Ps are all welcome to the world's first INclusive film launch. Featuring synchronised screenings at a staggering 60 different cinemas across the nation. With a solar-powered cinema tent pitched in London's Leicester Square, the People's Premiere is also the planet's first truly green film premiere - no greenwash allowed.

Jonathan Essex Jonathan Essex is an active member of the Campaign Against Climate Change, chair of local group acting on community and environmental issues called Sustainable Redhill and MEP candidate for the Green Party in the 2009 European elections. Jonathan works for BioRegional who are calling for One Planet Living now as a guiding principle to build sustainable communities and create a new DNA for sustainable organisations. He is working to help create new social enterprises to reuse building materials and challenge the construction industry, like the rest of the UK, to meet the challenge to cut its climate emissions now. Jonathan was woken up to the 'here and now' challenge of climate change when working through the monsoon season in Bangladesh, where 1 in 10 year floods covered four tenths of the country. In line with the Age of Stupid, Jonathan says that, when the next generation asks of us "Daddy, what did you do about climate change' the only answer we should give is that we did everything, together, and stopped it. Any other answer is simply unacceptable."

Please note all these details are still provisional, as there's many a slip twixt cup and lip, and nobody's ever pulled off something quite like what we're planning before...
