Read all about the world record beating People's Premiere here.
Normal film premieres are glitzy and exclusive, with nobody invited except VIPs - but the People's Premiere is different: VIPs, IPs and plain old Ps are all welcome to the world's first INclusive film launch. Featuring synchronised screenings at a staggering 60 different cinemas across the nation. With a solar-powered cinema tent pitched in London's Leicester Square, the People's Premiere is also the planet's first truly green film premiere - no greenwash allowed.

John RileyI am just a parent, desperately concerned about how climate change will affect my children and how government simply isn’t biting the bullet to make radical changes quickly enough to solve the problem. To help stir up some action I started Scottish Action on Climate Change in 2005 which joined the Stop Climate Chaos coalition a year later. I also initiated the “Carbon Neutral Biggar” project in 2007 but I am mainly involved with promoting the international carbon rationing framework: “Contraction & Convergence” which I am delighted to say is the solution to climate change that this film is advocating. |
