Read all about the world record beating People's Premiere here.
Normal film premieres are glitzy and exclusive, with nobody invited except VIPs - but the People's Premiere is different: VIPs, IPs and plain old Ps are all welcome to the world's first INclusive film launch. Featuring synchronised screenings at a staggering 60 different cinemas across the nation. With a solar-powered cinema tent pitched in London's Leicester Square, the People's Premiere is also the planet's first truly green film premiere - no greenwash allowed.

Emma Smail and Sally CottEmma Smail is on the organising commitee of Chorlton's first Big Green Festival at St Clement's church on 4th April. The idea was brought about by meeting many local people wanting to raise awareness about environmental concerns and help people feel empowered by their decision to live more sustainably. It will be an entertaining, fun-packed day which will help the community and all present explore new and interesting ways in incorporating sustainability into everyday living. Sally Cott has held interactive energy efficiency forums in Greater Manchester which have focused on gas, electricity and water consumption, working together with various community groups and organisations to deliver information in fun and interesting ways! |
