Read all about the world record beating People's Premiere here.
Normal film premieres are glitzy and exclusive, with nobody invited except VIPs - but the People's Premiere is different: VIPs, IPs and plain old Ps are all welcome to the world's first INclusive film launch. Featuring synchronised screenings at a staggering 60 different cinemas across the nation. With a solar-powered cinema tent pitched in London's Leicester Square, the People's Premiere is also the planet's first truly green film premiere - no greenwash allowed.

Chris KennettChris first became involved with the environmental movement from a health perspective back in 1995. As with personal health that needs to be looked at from all aspects diet, exercise, stress, toxins etc, he believes the health of our planet should be looked at in a similar way ie, holistically. Chris has been involved with many groups over the years including Friends of the Earth (FOE), Greenpeace (current area representative) and was involved with setting up Portsmouth Climate Action Network (PCAN) and is now the Treasurer. He also attends Portsmouth Sustainability Action Group (PSAG) who are at present working with the Council on the Portsmouth Climate Strategy. Chris believes everyone has a part to play in making a better world possible whether it be writing letters or taking direct action. He was at the Newbury bypass demonstrations back in the 90s more recently at the Climate Camp at Kingsnorth where he ran a workshop. |
