Nigerian child
A child living in a shanty town in the Niger Delta. The World Bank estimates that Nigerians’ average income is about $1 a day and it says a fifth of children die before their fifth birthdays. Nigeria produces about 2.5 million barrels of oil a day and Nigerian oil accounts for 10% of US crude imports.
