22nd November. This page is under construction, sorry for all the mess. The screening information is correct.
Along with experiencing some of the worst affects of climate change in 2009, such as droughts and wild fires, the people of Greece were hugely supportive of the film, at the September 2nd Global Premiere, through the web and throughout 2009 Climate related events.
Greenpeace organised action packs and T-shirts. Lucky that some Greeks got to use the action packs! One week before the premiere we discovered that all action pack files in 12 plus languages had been corrupted and random lines had literally turned to Greek. At this point we weren't even sure if there would be a screening in Greece. Both disasters abetted, Greek premiere sorted though for a bit later and the packs were reverted to original Thai, French, etc. Just don't ask Tom to look at Action Packs again. On September 21st / 22nd, on the eve of the UN General Assembly's climate session, The Age of Stupid was launched internationally at the biggest and greenest live film event the world has ever seen. A-list celebrities walked the green carpet to an eco cinema tent in downtown New York, linked by satellite to 700 cinemas in 50+ countries. Take a look at the photos below from the events around the world and see the Global Premiere page for the full report.
Sorry we couldn't organise a Global Premiere event in your country, we tried our best. Instead, you can watch the film online for free here until the 22nd of October.
