Screenings in Mozambique

22nd November. This page is under construction, sorry for all the mess. The screening information is correct.

Mozambique, along with the rest of Africa, is one of the countries likely to suffer the effects of climate change the most. Janice Lemos, and the rest of the guys at Justica Ambiental worked really, really hard to make the Premiere screening a success.

Hi everyone,

The premiere here in Maputo went well but sadly not a lot of people as we wish! As per photos sent the number of people must be 100.

Only 80 of those signed the leaflets....we printed only 200 leaflets and we will print more 200 next week. All the schools here in Mozambique are asking to have the screening for their students . One of Justica Ambiental employee goes with the DVD and come back only when the movie finishes, never leaving the DVD behind.

Next week on October 1 the movie will be screening for students at architecture university here in Maputo.

Something funny : our employee went to the premiere walking along the city with our orange t shirt (age of stupid in front with image and not stupid and JA on the back) everybody was asking him if it is a new political party (we are at elections here in Mozambique) everybody laugh about this (yes of course the "not stupid movement")!!!!

Regards

Janice

On September 21st / 22nd, on the eve of the UN General Assembly's climate session, The Age of Stupid was launched internationally at the biggest and greenest live film event the world has ever seen. A-list celebrities walked the green carpet to an eco cinema tent in downtown New York, linked by satellite to 700 cinemas in 50+ countries. Take a look at the photos below from the events around the world and see the Global Premiere page for the full report.
